Need some help managing your runbooks tasks within Onwardly? This article will show you how to create, edit and delete a runbook task for your Onwardly program.

Creating a runbook task
- Login to Onwardly.
- On the Dashboard page, click on the Runbooks tab located on the left of the page under the Resources section. This will take you to the Runbooks page.
- On the Runbooks page, click on the name of the runbook you want to add tasks to.
- On the runbook's page, click New task for runbook located on the left of the page. This will take you to Create a new task page.
- Enter the details of the new task for your runbook into the provided boxes. These include:
- Name
- Notes
- Assign tasks to
- Program selection
- Once the details have been entered click Create to add a new task to your runbook.
Editing a runbook task
- Login to Onwardly.
- On the Dashboard page, click on the Runbooks tab located on the left of the page under the Resources section. This will take you to the Runbooks page.
- On the Runbooks page, click on the name of the runbook you wish to edit. This will take you to the runbook's page.
- On the runbook's page, click on the name of the task that you wish to edit. This will take you to the edit runbook task page.
- Enter the details of the task into the provided boxes that you wish to edit. These include:
- Name
- Notes
- Assign tasks to
- Program selection
- Once the runbooks task details have been edited, click Save to update your changes to the runbooks task.
Deleting runbook tasks
- Login to Onwardly.
- On the Dashboard page, click on the Runbooks tab located on the left of the page under the Resources section. This will take you to the Runbooks page.
- On the Runbooks page, click on the name of the runbook you wish to edit. This will take you to the runbook's page.
- On your runbook's page, click Delete located on the right of the page for the runbook task you wish to delete.
- Click on Delete to remove the runbook task from your runbook.
